We found a great egg dying kit that used little sponge brushes to paint the eggs. I highly recommend these to anyone with toddlers!

April Fool's

Lanie and Jack both helped bake daddy's birthday cake this year.

The Things We Do!!

When grandpa was here, we all trekked over to the gym to watch Mama ride a donkey. Donkey Basketball is an annual fundraiser for the Spanish Club, and I'd managed to get out of it for the last several years, but this year I finally gave in...Jack and Brooklinn and Daniel thought it was pretty funny to see me up there on the donkey, but Lanie was more interested in coloring the pictures she had brought along.

Grandpa's Visit

We were so happy when Grandpa came to visit at the end of March. When he was here last year we colored Easter eggs, so we decided to keep up the tradition even though Easter was still weeks away.

Grandpa also brought Lanie and Jack both adorable "Future Pirate" shirts from his new college.

Prom Queen

Lanie went to her first prom in March and she was the Belle of the Ball! She spent the days before prom helping mama, the prom sponsor, turn the gym into a "Midnight in Paris". She absolutely loves helping with school stuff and hanging out with the big girls, and they are so good to her. When the big night finally came around she was a little overwhelmed, especially during the Grand March when all the members of the communtiy come to watch all the prom-goers go through a procession, but she eventually relaxed and did not want to leave even as she was falling asleep on her feet.

Play-Doh

Play-Doh is the newest craze at our house! It's a great entertainer while we are trying to get dinner done.

Jackman is very proud of his first official haircut. I didn't think he would ever sit by and let the lady cut his hair, but he did great. He sat in David's lap and let her do her thing with hardly a complaint. Afterwards he was happy to show off his haircut to everyone.

Lots of Company!

We were so excited to have Auntie Erin and Uncle Andrew come visit the same weekend that Uncle Richie and Aunt Erin came! We had a nice dinner with both our families and the kids had a great time playing and hanging out with their aunts and uncles. Thank you all for coming to see us!
