I could not wait to take the kids to the beach even if for a short while. I cannot believe how much I miss the smells and sounds of the ocean at times. To think, I completely took this place for granted while growing up. Luckily we were able to make 2 short trips while in Sequim. Of course the kids loved it. We looked for, and found, seashells, and practiced skipping rocks--all the beach basics.
