A True Sports Fan

Whether it's our school's Mission Bulldogs, or the Montana Grizzlies, Lanie is a die-hard fan. Sometimes I wonder where she came from because although David and I enjoy sports, we are by no means the fanatic our lovely daughter is...

Future Bulldog Homecoming Queen and Volleyball player!

She was so excited about her Grizzly Shirt and of course had to wear it to watch the game

"I love my Monte Grizzly Bear!!!!"

Jack on the other hand has slept his way through most games!!!

Yummy!

First Food--Rice Cereal
Now he has graduated to oatmeal, carrots, and plums, and pears.

Finally!

Ok-I'm not sure what I did differently, but I finally got my camera working!

I love my brother, sometimes a little too much...

No New Pictures...

I have honestly been trying to update this site, but I cannot get my camera to upload my pictures. So I guess I'll just have to tell you how things are going...Fall has definitely hit full force. I know because it's freezing and because David has been hunting obsessed for the last month. There is currently a dead deer hanging in our garage as proof. I'll have to admit I dread the day he wants to take our kids hunting. It scares the heck out of me!! Both kids are doing well. Jack is growing at phenomenal speeds. He has to be close to 20 pounds by now. He is still as lovable as ever, although he had quite the crying jag last night, which is very unusual. He got his first tooth this month and looks quite adorable. He is even starting to get some hair. I think he'll be much quicker than his sister in that department. To my surprise, he hasn't started crawling yet, but I think that will happen any day now. Lanie is also doing great. She loves "her boy" and is great at playing with him and entertaining him when he's upset (as long as there aren't more important things like Dora going on!) She is still refusing to even look at her potty, but I'm hoping she'll get back into it soon. She is busy learning all kids of things. Her counting is improving by the day and she now knows quite a few of her shapes. She also knows all of her colors and recognizes several letters(she's been able to do both of these for awhile) She still loves books and notices every single detail. She is somewhat obsessed with her Richard Scary books and will not go to bed without them. So that's the latest on the Keast family. Hopefully I'll figure the picture thing out soon

Can you believe it??

Two posts in one week--I should win a medal or something....

We went to Quinn's Hot Springs with friends this Sunday. We had a delicious dinner and then headed to the pools. Jack was sleeping, so we sat at the pool and watched, but Lanie had a fantastic time! I thought she might be scared or overwhelmed, but she loved it.

Fun in Seattle!

We had tons of fun on our trip to Seattle. We went to the zoo, the aquarium, and on a boat ride around the harbor. The kids loved seeing all of my family and also got to see aunt Dianne, uncle Bob, and cousin Sparrow.
At my grandma and grandpa's house in Gig Harbor. I hate to say it, but I think Lanie might have grandpa wrapped around her finger....

They also had tons of fun at the rehearsal, shower, and reception. They definitely got more than their fair share of the attention!

Lucky girl, got to carry around auntie's rehearsal bouquet

Lucky for Lanie, she gets her moves from auntie Erin and not me!

Aunt Erin's Wedding

This summer my sister, Erin, got married and boy was Lanie proud to be the flower girl. She took her job quite seriously, throwing the flowers all out in about 3 tosses, before she even made it to the rows of guests! She then preceded to cry "Lanie's flowers" and try to pick them up. I got her going again with my bouquet, but once she got to all the people, she was done and stood in the back with granny, daddy, and baby Jack for the rest of the wedding. The rest of us enjoyed the beautiful ceremony and were glad it turned out to be such a gorgeous day.

He hates to admit it, but Jack got a little bored...

Sick Baby!

Well it's official, Jack is sick--poor guy. He has had a cough forever and we've taken him to the doctor twice, but all they've said is he has a bit of a cold and an eye infection. Well yesterday he was sick and miserable all day, so we were glad his wellness check was scheduled for today. He is such a happy little baby that we knew something was wrong when he was fussy all day yesterday, not to mention the fever! When we took him in, the doctor said he had a bad chest cold, an ear infection, and an eye infection in both eyes, so he gave him antibiotics, which will hopefully kick in in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, he is miserable, yet still his sweet little self. I know I've been awful about this but seeing friends blogs (Wendy and Katie :) ) have inspired me to get back on top of it. We'll see...

More Summer Fun

We had lots of fun during grammie, uncle Ken, and Robin's visit. We took the whole crew, including granny and papa, and cousins Brook and Daniel, to the bison range. We also went to the Miracle of America Museum. Not only did Lanie get to ride this cute train, but we also got to ride on an old-fashioned WWII tank!

Jack is the first Keast boy born since David in 1972, so we needed a picture of 3 generations of Keasts!
