I have to confess the picture I just posted is from when my dad came to visit in February. I am much bigger now!
Time really seems to have slowed down...I cannot wait for the next 4 weeks to go by! Truth be told though, I am not ready. We need to put carpet in the nursery and do the finishing touches, but I just want to see our little one.
The school had a very nice shower for me last Thursday. I'll have to post pictures of the shower so you all can see what I really look like! Everyone was very generous and we have many beautiful outfits and blankets for the baby. We also received many practical gifts, including my favorite, "the diaper genie". Now all I need to buy is a good supply diapers and we'll have what we need.

The Countdown Begins!
I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. We have less than 5 weeks to go before our expected day. It seems the first 7 1/2 months flew by and now time has slowed way down.... I can't wait until May 10th. I am so excited to meet this little one who is constantly dancing and perfoming somersaults in my stomach!
We went to the doctor yesterday and everything is right on track. Dr McCoy said for the hundreth time that I'm having a textbook pregnancy. In fact the only problem I've had lately was a 24 hour flu bug. Let's hope the delivery goes as smoothly!

Shy Baby!
Thursday was our big day! We finally went in for the ultrasound that we missed last month. While sitting in the waiting room, we were excited to see ultrasound pictures another mom had. They were as clear as day and the images made us even more excited to see our own little one. .
Unfortunately the baby chose this day to be shy! It had its hand in front of its face the whole time, so we couldn't get any good shots. The technology is amazing, but it can only get you so far when the baby is playing peek a boo! Despite not being able to see its face, the ultrasound is still an amazing experience.. We cannot wait to see our little guy/girl and were happy to have the doctor move the due date back to May 10th.

OOPS!
As many of you know, David and I were going in on Friday for our next ultrasound. We were very excited and had been looking forward to it all week. I'm not quite sure why....but we were running late for our appointment and got there too late for the dr. to fit us in. We really had no excuse for being late, just chalk this one up to the decrease in brain cells caused by pregnancy!
Needless to say we were both disappointed, me especially, but we are scheduled to go back in for an ultrasound after David gets back from working in Phoenix. Trust me, there is no way I'm going to let us miss this one!

Dad's visit
We have had a very busy week. My dad has been visiting and has helped finish several projects that needed to be done before baby arrives. Its been nice having him here and we really appreciate all of his help!
We go in next Fri. for our doctor's appointment. We'll have our final ultrasound before baby is due. I can't wait to see how much the baby has grown and to watch it moving around. We will let everyone know how our appointment went.

Valentine's Day
Baby is doing well. We go in for our next ultrasound on March 3rd. I can feel the baby moving like crazy now so I'm excited to watch it squirming around on the screen.
We are looking forward to my dad coming out this weekend. Hopefully while he is here, we will be moving things around and making room for the nursery.
Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone!!

Doctor's Appointment
We had another check up last Thursday and I am happy to say everything went great! I had my diabetes check and so far no problems with that or blood pressure. This is quite a relief given our family history.
In fact, the only trouble we ran into was a possible gas leak at the hospital. I'm still not sure what happened, but when we left, there were maintenence men running around looking confused and a very strong natural gas smell coming from the lab area!

Thank You Aunt Erin
We are very excited that aunt Erin has set this site up! Now we just need to figure how how to post pictures and other items...
Things are going well. The baby is moving like crazy and David finally was able to feel the movement this weekend!
We go in for our next appointment Feb. 6 and will let everyone know how it turns out.

Aunt Erin creates blog for Baby Keast
We are so excited to see Baby Keast! I created this blog so Sara and David could tell their family and friends who are far away how things are going.
